The question we get most about Goa is not “which package” but “which side”. Our 3-night and 4-night tours cover both on separate sightseeing days; the hotel is where you decide what kind of Goa you want to come back to every evening.
North Goa — lively
Baga, Calangute, Candolim, Anjuna and Vagator: water sports, beach shacks, the flea markets, nightlife and shopping. The North Goa sightseeing day on both tours takes in Fort Aguada, Sinquerim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna and Vagator. Stay here if you want the evenings busy and the shacks within walking distance.
South Goa — calm
Colva, Benaulim, Palolem and Mobor: quieter beaches, luxury resorts, and the cultural landmarks — Old Goa’s Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral, Dona Paula, Miramar, and optional temple visits to Mangeshi and Shanta Durga. The South Goa day covers all of these. Stay here for long empty beaches and early nights.
What both tours share
- Private cab pick-up and drop at Goa airport or railway station
- The Mandovi River dinner cruise on the first evening — live music, Goan folk dance, dinner on board
- North and South Goa full-day sightseeing by sharing coach
- 3-star hotel with breakfast
- Entrance tickets and personal expenses not included
Add the waterfall
The 4-night Family Fun tour adds a Dudhsagar Falls excursion — a jeep safari through the Western Ghats to the four-tiered waterfall, subject to forest-department permission. It is the best single day in Goa for children and the reason to take the longer plan.
When
October to March is the season — pleasant weather and every shack open. April to June is hot; July to September is the monsoon, green and dramatic, with Dudhsagar at full force but the water sports closed.
